About the work
URAMADO - PARCOURS DANS LES BIBLIOTHÈQUES
Uramado tells the story of the Tanukis, mischievous forest spirits who wake up in the city. When scanned with a smartphone using a free app, these augmented reality characters come to life and tell their stories to visitors. As part of the KIKK Festival, a portion of this exhibition, currently on display at the Pavillon in the Citadel of Namur as part of Pavillon Playground, is moving beyond the pavilion’s walls to libraries throughout the Namur network. One or more Tanuki characters will be featured there, accompanied by a few stickers or posters hidden among the shelves, to create a fun, free mini-tour to explore on-site.
Young and old alike are invited to search for the hidden Tanukis and, for the duration of their visit, immerse themselves in a colorful, immersive world, a taste of the festival right in their neighborhood library.
