About the talk
Human First
"This will be a talk about the power of creativity and joy in times of uncertainty. How I use creative methods to design, finding unusual ways of working to create more surprising outcomes for a wide range of projects.
With the proliferation of AI as a shortcut for creativity, we see a lot of sameness and lack of originality especially in branding and digital design. I don’t deny AI and its impact in everything we do, but we approach design always with human imagination first. We will talk about the relationship between my personal creative explorations and the client work, how they feed of each other and help me find a healthy balance.
I will also talk about joy as a creative act and a form of resistance, an antidote to the pessimism and lack of perspective that dominates much of the world today."
