Senses and Sensibility: When Immersion Looks Beyond Vision, presented by XN Québec

    About the panel

In 2026, immersion is no longer just about what audiences see. Studios and creators are discovering new ways to shape immersion and reach audiences, and technology now lets them go further than ever. It's not that we've seen it all in visual immersion. It's that we're discovering there's more to immersion than what meets the eye, literally.

Could engaging senses beyond sight be a new way to deepen loyalty with existing audiences while opening the door to entirely new ones? The next step for immersive experiences and even a tool to make those productions even more accessible ? And what if the deepest immersion isn't something projected onto us, but something reflected back, our own body, made visible?
