    Reimagine/ Reinventing the City

    About the panel

Rethinking the city through culture: four trajectories, four different scales of intervention. From Oulu, where a European Capital of Culture is reshaping the identity of a mid-sized city over the long term, to Differdange, where a former steel site has become a creative hub; from Canary Wharf's business district, where public art finds its way into a territory built for commerce, to the large-scale, temporary spectacles designed by Filmmaster to transform how an entire city is seen, if only for the duration of an event.
Four complementary approaches, cultural policy, industrial reconversion, public art in private territory, and large-scale urban spectacle, to explore what makes a city feel alive today: duration, use, image, or the moment itself.
