Making It Real
About the panel
Every large-scale artistic experience starts as a vision — and turning that vision into something audiences can actually walk into, feel, and remember is its own creative act. This panel brings together people who sit at that exact threshold: an agency that represents and produces for artists, executive production for ambitious creative projects, a studio building video content for global live entertainment, and a festival-studio hybrid navigating both sides at once.
Rather than treating production as the practical afterthought to the "real" creative work, this conversation explores how artistic decisions actually get made under pressure — what gets protected, what gets reinvented, and what a producer's eye brings to a project that a purely artistic one might miss.
Moderated by Claire Spencer Cook, whose own work sits at the intersection of immersive storytelling and production, the discussion moves between craft and constraint — asking what it really takes to turn an idea into an experience someone can step into.
