    Curating Under Constraint

    About the panel

Four curators, four completely different sets of constraints. From a major heritage institution balancing legacy and new technologies, to a hybrid music and digital art festival, to an independent platform bridging Europe and North Africa, to a homegrown music-tech scene building its own identity, this panel pulls back the curtain on how curatorial decisions actually get made, and what shapes them: budget, infrastructure, audience, or simply what's possible in a given context.

Moderated by Sarah Eve Tousignant, whose own experience navigating independent festival curation brings a sharp eye to the conversation, this is less a showcase of finished programmes than an honest look at process: the choices, the trade-offs, and the different definitions of what ""good curation"" even means.
