    About the workshop

    ATELIER URAMADO

What if Uramado’s creatures came to life in your hands?
During the KIKK Festival, extend your discovery of Uramado, the poetic and fantastical world of artist Julie Stephen Chheng, through a workshop combining drawing, hands-on crafting and augmented reality.
After meeting the mysterious Tanukis inhabiting the Pavillon Playground exhibition, it’s time to get creative! Inspired by these spirits with their surprising shapes and colours, participants are invited to imagine and personalise their own creations: masks, paper characters (paper toys) or drawings enhanced with augmented reality stickers.
Pencils, scissors, colours and paper constructions bring these little creatures to life. Thanks to the Uramado AR app, the creations then take on a whole new dimension: the characters come alive on the screen of a smartphone or tablet, bringing the real world and the imagination together.
A playful and creative experience that invites participants to explore the possibilities of augmented reality in a different way, combining traditional drawing and crafting techniques with digital technologies.
A free, drop-in workshop to extend the Uramado experience and take home your very own creation!
